This is a great collection, but it would have been nice if all the women had been given equal attention rather than just some of them since some havve more dresses than others. Two dresses per doll would have been nicer than some having one and others having three or four.
Elegant fashion
This is a very nice set of paper dolls. It comes with Mamie Eisenhower with three costumes, Jackie Kennedy with one costume, Lady Bird Johnson with one costume, Pat Nixon with three costumes, Betty Ford with one costume, Rosalynn Carter with one costume, Nancy Reagan with three costumes and one accessory, Barbara Bush with one costume, Hillary Clinton with three costumes and one accessory, Laura Bush with one costume, and Michelle Obama with three costumes. Although they don't come with stands, they do come with a platform that can be bent back and instructions on how to make a brace to stand the dolls up. The dolls and costumes are on sturdy paperboard. I would prefer the costumes to be on paper, but don't intend to cut these out so that's okay with me. It also includes the ladies' birth and death date and information on the costumes, such as the occasion, style, or fabric, etc.
Bought these for my mother for Mother's day who loves paper dolls and she was thrilled! She loved the designs and that they are easy to cut out.

How great is this?
The gowns are gorgeous, the First Ladies are beautiful, and this is a wonderful opportunity for play that just might be followed up by your child's increased fascination with the subject matter. (Let's read about history!) The color and detail of the designs here are so wonderful, that this would make a wonderful addition to an adult's collection for reference or play. (Yes! We do need to play!)
